Music (especially at the end) was too loud. Otherwise, enjoyed the show
Brilliant! So well written and acted! We all loved it!
A very good show. Funny, insightful and different.
Great script. So well acted. Haven't laughed so much in a long time.
The show was brilliant, although the ending, even with the double bows, felt very abrupt.
Brilliant and absolutely hilarious. ...wonderful 60 min laugh!
UNFAIR LADY was a theatre treat of note; slick, sly, hilarious and wittily spot -on in its take on so many aspects of SA pop culture. I LOVED it - and roared with laughter almost incessantly. Hats off to two extremely talented young women, who morphed stylishly from character to character, all of them memorable and unique, OUTSTANDING performances delivered with high energy and a great deal of insight. The audience was vocal in its enthusiasm and support - congratulations to the writer, director, actors and crew...yet another 'slam dunk' at the Alex!!
So funny! Such a clever concept. Really loved the show. Well done!
Keep an eye on Critter for more detailed opinion.
The email got to me quite late so now comment past its sell-by date. But loved it - particularly the "Life not lived" sketch, and Charlize interview. Also closing orgasmorobics sketch, Well staged too. Some sketches didn't quite sustain basic idea but almost inevitable in sketch shows. Have enjoyed all Popart stuff.
Absolutely brilliant! Both actresses equally superb. We laughed till we cried, right the way through the show, as did the rest of the audience. Would see it again in a heartbeat.
Really very funny. It wasn't terribly challenging of conventional frameworks, but possibly more relaxing as a result. I may even see it again with a friend who enjoy a laugh.
Some sketches were well conceived and executed, but others -- like the opening monologue -- weren't particularly convincing (mostly in terms of performance). Most of the satire was quite enjoyable, though. The Charlize Theron impression was great, as was the portrayal of the fitness instructor's long-suffering assistant in the final sketch. Well done to the actors for keeping it together despite the many attempts from the audience to derail the show through unnecessarily loud coughing fits and (in at least two cases) running commentary.
It was forced, over the top and not funny at all. I expected a nuanced show that understood the intricacies of womanhood and could bring it across the the audience in a funny yet truthful way. This show was none of that.
What a fun night out. I can recommend this to everyone! Hilarious, tongue in cheek comedy
Very sadly missed it by about 4 minutes. Couldn't find parking. had to run halfway down Buitengracht and arrived too late. Seriously disappointed. Mariette
Well written and excellent show. It would have been useful if the ending wasn't quite so abrupt - wasn't sure it was finished or not.
Well constructed and to the point. 1 hour is the ideal duration for this venue. Will come again.
mesmerising, hilarious take on our social structure - loved it
