Join Sarah McArthur as she launches her debut EP, Under Water. The music is a marriage of vivid storytelling, haunting melodies and delicately layered instruments, combining elements of folk and blues. The performance will feature a play through of the EP by its collaborating musicians as well as a few new songs that have come to the surface since.

Sarah is a storyteller first and her writing is thoughtful, always honest and a little close to the bone. Produced by Wren Hinds at South Sea Records, Under Water has been recorded and created organically and honestly and features reflective and intelligent writing, supported by delicate finger-style guitar, soft electrics, strings and close harmonies. 

Sarah McArthur is a singer-songwriter and finger-style guitarist. Her music explores the personal things that we all experience and focuses on relationships, life, loss and love. Sarah has performed her music around Cape Town at venues like the Alma Cafe, Cottage Club, Alexander Bar and Barleycorn Music Club, where she won their songwriting competition last year and placed in the top ten this year.
