After 6 years, the train trip of titillating trouble and tease stops in Cape Town once again-this time to celebrate Black Orchid Burlesque's 10th Birthday! Expect nothing “butt”the “breast” performers to have graced our stages, with phenomenal displays of both classic and neo burlesque from D.D. Boobs, King St-Fox, Betty Behave, Bon Bon, Sophia von Syren and more!

The GREAT S.A. Burlesque Express RETURNS in January 2018 for a little sexy soiree at Alexander Upstairs to get you swinging into the new year with a smile on your faces! 

Once again hosted by the notorious Prof. DD Boobs, this adventure promises to be at its bawdiest!

Black Orchid's Burlesque Academy, but also fondly dubbed "S.A.'s Original Dame of Burlesque". Having performed across the country and abroad, this bawdy performer has been a key player in the development and encouragement of the artform in South Africa. 

Supported by her phenomenal other half, KING St. FOX, there is no telling what this dynamic duo will produce next!

Just awful.

Outstanding ... Great fun show, performers & venue! Loved it ... Only comment, the venue was very small, and with the air-conditioning not working, it was an issue. I know these things happen ... where things break or do not work. I think you tried to address the situation with a portable air con unit of some kind ... but it was fairly ineffective for that packed room. Mostly, I felt sad for the performers who were bringing their magic and who had to contend with a white glaring monstrosity on stage where everything else had been blacked out. So I guess as a recommendation for future events, and in respect to the performers, ensure that your air conditioning is addressed and running 100% (maybe just for these summer months). Thank you.

Lonely show! :D

We absolutely love coming to the Alexander and are there as often as we can. We are huge Burlesque fans and the show was good enough but there was an amateurish element in the narrator which just missed that sweet spot between being funny and seductive, and just being too silly. But we will be back.

What a fabulously entertaining show. Loved every moment.

What a wonderful show. Super entertaining and well-hosted. Comedic timing was on point, and overall great energy.
