Previously performed at Artscape theatre as part of Heritage month celebrations, Sunset View comes to Alexander Upstairs this November for a more intimate setting. Zinzi Nogavu's soulful voice is accompanied by a fusion of both African and western instruments, contributing to a fresh and uplifting sound that she continues to hone in her career.

The show is titled 'Sunset Sessions with Zinzi Nogavu' and will be followed up by a series of shows in and around Cape Town beginning with Alexander Upstairs. Zinzi Nogavu is a Music Post Graduate from the University of Cape Town and recently broke into the music industry as a solo performer. Notably she's also been a part of a successful collaboration with Dizu Plaatjies.

A sunset view explores the promise of a peaceful night and a better tomorrow. The show consists of a live band and backing vocalists.
