shnit CAPE TOWN have teamed up with The Alexander Bar to bring you 'A taste of shnit'. A monthly screening of only the best short films that shnit has to offer. For May we have 'Mayday 2018' which will comprise of films from past years about being in trouble or troubling situations.

The shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival is a non-profit organisation based in 8 cities around the world.The annual festival takes place every October over ten days (18-28 October 2018). The festival delivers a high quality programme of new and established International and South African short films.

It was my first shnit! I thought the films were great (mostly) - second one and last one were brilliant! I struggled with the number and that they followed without pause but that is possibly just my preference for measured input as opposed to a deluge. I would like to see more and will book again.
