Lance Herman - Cape Town based Singer & Songwriter - teams up with bassist Ryan McArthur & drummer Jonno Sweetman to play a selection of original songs and compositions. While the music revolves around songs Lance has written, the live show takes on a life of its own; Jazz-style improvisation & free-Play combines with tightly scripted Song-Stories; Ship In the Desert, Rollercoaster, Thin Bridge, White Dress, amongst others. Ranging from cinematic & sublime moments of musical volume, to quiet & beautiful ballads sung in Lance's distinctly wistful voice; come & be moved & inspired by the unique play of this trio.
"Lance Herman's music is more than sound, it's a journey to another world where everything is strange but familiar, a place that stays with you for days after, cascading in your soul." - Milton Schorr, Actor.
"Moved by the music & entertained by the unexpected events. " Ari Kruger, Filmmaker.

5 out of 5. Lance was fantastic: hilarious, zany banter with wonderful music from him, Ryan and Jonno. They all have terrific stage presence and personality. A great show all-round and I will definitely be at the next one.
It would be nice if the shows started on time, though. This one started about 20/25 minutes late.
four and a half stars from us. great music delivered by top trio. bass, drums and lance all excellent! thank you
Third time I have see Lance perform at Alexander Bar. More magic each time.
Look forward to seeing him there again...
Show was superb, Lance Herman great, and of course it's the combination of all three musicians that I give a rating of 4.

Great show.
Venue was quite stuffy though. Music sounded great though.
