Almost all aspects of the show were awesome. The script, staging etc top class. Scott was excellent - this is a stunningly good performance and I look forward to seeing more of Scott on South African stages. I have had a bit of theatre experience and the only suggestion I can make to improve this show is a small niggling thing that perhaps only I was aware of. The people sitting in the additional seats at the S/R and S/L had there wine glasses with them. I understand the vibe you're trying to create and appreciate why you try to add seats. Unfortunately,,this play was about many things centering on hunger, heat, dementia etc. each element introducing more and more depth of the character. The people drink (right in the sight line) would decided they needed to sip during tense and important emotional moments in the play. They almost all did it at the same times!!! It is extremely difficult for any actor to have the audience suspend disbelief when obvious distractions in the line of site. It seemed to me the people that were drinking subconsciously need alcohol when ever the was a very tense moment.in the show. Audiences can be rude )that is why we have cellphone warnings) and disrupt and show unintentionally. My suggestion is for shows of this theatrical depth drinks should NOT be allowed in the performance. Almost as bad were several ladies passing a box of sweets around during the performance. This is sort of acceptable acceptable in a light show or comedy but for me It was disappointing in Henry and the Sand. Thanks you intimate theatre and I look forward to many more show at your venue. My wife and eye really enjoyed this show!!!!

A slow moving but intense play ..really enjoyed Scot's performance and the nuances he conveyed... great acting. A super little intimate theatre.. hope to see more plays here. Wish I'd known about the social media play which followed.. sounded great fun from the description we read while sitting on the terrace.

A demanding play which left me exhausted. The utter desolation was vividly captured by the intensity of the acting.
