An exploration into the journey of stripping back the layers of self image. Gemma Griffiths is a soul singer with a haunting voice that is unapologetically and uniquely raw. She combines music, poetry and prose together in a journey through breaking down and building up - through the art of airing ones laundry. 

Gemma grew up in Zimbabwe, and has since travelled the world performing as a soul singer, pianist, trumpeter and composer. She lived in the USA studying at a jazz university, and spends a large amount of time in London performing. This act is a combination of drama and originally penned music - written to disect self exploration through the pressures of modern day society, health and self image. An honest, unique and real performance, that will take the audience with her - through every note, word and movement.
