Damiá started performing his own songs live at sixteen in his home country, the is island of Mallorca, Spain. His personal style, Mediterranean folk-pop is influenced by contemporary pop, techno, and draws inspiration from the sea, clouds, old earth-rooted acoustic music and instruments, and ancient values. In Mallorca, modern life and ancient life have collided, giving birth to a generation of people whose identity blurs in these two worlds. He is part of that mixture.
Damiá Oliver has performed extensively in Europe and internationally, including Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Lisbon, Holland and Morocco. He has accredited training in the Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. In his career he has combined both creative disciplines namely, music and painting to produce work. The last few years he has dedicated his attention predominantly to music. He is currently finishing his first solo recording, and has been performing live shows, full time since 2013.

His self-produced and self-recorded Cavalls, was selected as one of the thirty best Mallorca-scene songs of 2014 by the BN Mallorca radio program "Illa Sonora".  He has recently published his first solo record “Cançons de noces”. He was selected for the INJUVE national prize in 2012.
