Daar's 'n vreemdeling in my bed
Dementia. Die antwoord op ons vraag. Die grootse voorbeeld van “be careful what you wish for” .

"A play about forgetting that seared itself into my memory.'
Review by Estelle Terblanche
"I was fascinated by the two ends of the spectrum. On one end a generation furiously archiving and collecting moments and on the other end an older generation that’s slowly forgetting."

Audience Responses
I think the evening speaks for itself. A sell-out Afrikaans show. Something the audience feel they can relate to. An outstanding solo performance. It’s not every day that a solo performance keeps me hooked.
I am an English speaking person and my Afrikaans is very rusty and I was so pleasantly surprised as to how much of the performance that I understood and enjoyed so much due to its beautiful expressive verbal and visual language. I enjoyed this performance so much and can't wait to see more performances by the talented duo Liese Kuhn and Laura-Lee Mostert.
My first visut to Alexander Bar and theater it was a great experience. Really enjoyed the play. Actually it was excellent
WOW! WOW! WOW! Shit, that was really amazing! She pulled you in with all the emotions and even though it was a bit sad she told the story so hilariously funny!
Brilliant!!
'n Vreemdeling in my bed is a touching exploration of early onset Alzheimers. The poignant performance, that is constantly undercut by a sharp and witty humour, will drag you on a journey that has you questioning the fleeting nature of the present. The clever interplay between the inner life of the character and the visual life of the stage is unbelievably strong. Liese Kuhn and Laura-Lee Mostert have created a subtle poetic dance and I am truly excited to see where this play will go next.
