In the saddle, directing, is original Horseback rider Fiona du Plooy. Country takes on a whole new meaning in this daring , dirty and delicious Live musical. 5. What a really good show. Good performances all round especially Alicia McCormick who has excellent all round talent.

Angels On Horse Back was great but I can't say the same for Alexander Bar. We arrived at 7.15, having booked a table which nobody knew about anyway, we were seated at a table, nobody asked for our drinks order. We were there 10 minutes before my husband went to ask if we could order a drink and still nobody came so we left, went to Villa 47 and had dinner.

Fantastic show. High energy, gripping, funny and also on point when sharing some of the social issues we face today. The 4 worked well as a team and were well rehearsed.

Loved it! This show never disappoints, and the addition of Genna Galloway has brought a plucky new dimension to the on-stage dynamic. (Those women make a great team, and the musicians are, of course, fantastic. More cello!) Brilliant original music, stupendous covers ... It's all very happy-making with a wonderfully feminist twist. Oh, and the performers were incredibly professional last night when a very drunk member of the audience threatened to derail the show.

It was absolutely heart warming on a bitterly cold Cape Town night !! Truly quirky, well paced, full of surprising twists and much joy.. And great talent all around - musicians and singers . All performers seemingly having a lot of fun on stage - and managed to sweep the audience up to the same. Musicians could have had some special short focus - they're quite in the background, but doing an excellent job. Maybe they could have just been featured alone for a 2 min interlude ? Direction tight and creative. Perfect venue for the show - stay there !

We were a party of four and enjoyed this show immensely. We would definitely be back to see it if you stage it again.
