Multi-award winning actor, singer, composer and pianist Godfrey Johnson is known for his originality, humour and skill. He has been wowing international audiences for over twenty years and continues to do so with his eclectic and ground-breaking style. 

Come and enjoy an evening of song, pathos and comedy with Godfrey Johnson as he sings, plays and delights with material by Jacques Brel, Noel Coward, Supertramp, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie and songs by Johnson himself. He may even throw in an FAK Song for good measure!

In 2015, he was nominated for three Fleur du Cap awards for this production: best actor in a musical, best performance in a one-person show and best composer. In the same year he appeared in David Kramer's hit musical "Orpheus in Africa". In February 2017 Johnson had a successful run of his one-man play "Vaslav" at The Auto and General Theatre on The Square in Sandton. He has made numerous television appearances and starred in the film "Once Upon a Roadtrip". He composed the music for Pieter-Dirk Uys's musical, "Die Van Aardes van Grootoor" which enjoyed a hugely successful run at The Theatre on The Bay.

It did not grabbed me on the beginning , but it well improve as they went along . Over all very enjoyable !

I had previously seen Godfrey at the Kalk Bay Theatre and remembered him as being very entertaining. This show was absolutely fabulous - hugely entertaining and what a lot of energy he puts in!! I will go to any of his others shows with the greatest of pleasure. What an enjoyable night out.
