A collection of 10 solo-shows, each individual in genre, style and topic, through which the students unpack their own personal distractions and walk the fine line between distraction and obsession. This compilation of CityVarsity productions aims to explore the psychological and emotional impact of distractions and the role the play in our daily lives. Each solo-show approaches the theme differently, examining topics ranging across various forms of mental and emotional unrest and over-stimulated contemplations. Sex, social media, existentialism, and the emotional impact of reading fiction and overthinking realty, and more. Following various stories of anxiety, depression, social prejudice and pressure, these solo-shows make one thing clear: A distraction is something more than a superficial method of procrastination.

I enjoyed the show thoroughly. Each students performance was gripping and portrayed the relevant emotion accurately. Was a long show but didn't feel the time go by at all as I was too enthralled by their individual stories.

An array of talented performances! Some very hard hitting, others light and amusing. A wonderfully intimate theatre upstairs. Lovely coffee and food downstairs.
