Deep South is a collaboration featuring the combined talents of some of S.A's finest musicians. Headhunted by Dave Ledbetter (Guitars) and Ronan Skillen (Percussion), Deep South recently released their debut album 'A Waiting Land' which features S.A. legends and international icons like:
Shaun Johannes (Bass) Kevin Gibson (Drums) Darren English (Trumpet) Mark Fransmann (Clarinet) Shane Cooper (Fretless Bass) and Hein Van De Geyn (Double Bass).
The music reflects the Cape's Deep Southern natural environment and fuses styles of music ranging from World, Jazz, Blues and Acoustic Groove.
