Beautiful Wreckage
A clever combination of multi-media and musical theatre will have you engrossed in the story of these two charmingly likable characters who face the start of the real world. Will they tackle their obstacles fearlessly or crumble?
You’ll laugh, squirm and even shed a few tears in this reminiscent journey of “the student years”.

Audience Responses
It was really well put together and had one on edge till the very end. Too bad for a few minor background and sound glitches. I would suggest that more people go out and see the show. I enjoyed it fully. Thanks!!!
The acting was professional and it was a well-rehearsed and directed play. The story line was well depicted in every aspect from the music, lyrics and props. I enjoyed the originality in the music and Grant and Liam's voices complement each other well. There were great articulation and emotional expression throughout the play. It did bring back memories of my Varsity years, the awesome sense of freedom and then the question of how to deal with it! Thought the visual of their Diggs was in -congruent with the rest of the props. The visual created a sense of a perfect, clinical room which made the furniture seem to not fit. It may create even more of a setting and feel if the visual of the room displays the feel of the furniture props. Enjoyed the show. I wish Liam and Grant all the best. Comments by Tersia Mills.
Was good entertainment for the right age group being younger people
Actors were very natural on stage, very good original piece of work. I quite enjoyed it.
For me it needs some reworking on the scrip and the two actors needs some couching too especially the one who played Damien I think his name was . His voice production was very weak when he sung Chad was a lot better
The performance was obviously well planned, well rehearsed and well executed. Live performance is difficult to execute without incident, and these two young men did it brilliantly. I very much enjoyed the performance, and a nod of approval to Alexander bar for providing a venue for these types of events in a world that seems to be less and less focused on promoting young talent and live creative performance. Well done!!
Thought provoking. Should be seen by all young people finishing matric/ starting university. It has powerful message
